What Platforms are supported by MSS Software? Windows 95 or Windows NT Operating System. Network: We support our products on NT and Novell platforms. We do not support our product on Citrix Winframe or across dial-up communications software, such as PC Anywhere, Remote, etc. What
Processing Speed is required on my Workstations? 133 MHz or higher Processing Speed How
much RAM is required on my workstations? At least 16 MB of Memory (64 MB or more is preferable). How
much disk space is required to install Maynard Software programs? Depending on the setup chosen up to 20 megabytes of free disk space. I
am using a LANtastic Server and when I start up another PC as a workstation
and access your program, the server freezes up and can only be restarted by
pressing the reset button. BOMP needs a 32-bit platform in order to function; therefore, we do not support a LANtastic configuration. The proprietary file-sharing program that LANtastic uses causes the problem. If you disabled the proprietary file sharing and use DOS Share.exe it will solve the problem. What are your reports and custom forms written in? Our reports are designed using Crystal Report Writer, so increased reporting functionality or customizations to our standard reports may be made by modifying the report file. Can I modify the captions on the program screens? Yes, all captions are modifiable. To update the caption copy the INI files to the directory where the program is installed and update the right side of the = statement. If you wanted to change a field on the Additional Cost Maintenance form you would edit the ADDMNT.INI file. Changing anything to the right of the = sign will alter the screen accordingly.
